The PFM modulation technology provides accurate constant voltage/constant current (CV/CC) control loops with very high stability and average efficiency. It can be widely used in AC input LED lighting fields such as PAR lamps, bulb lamps and fluorescent lamps.

    The SD6857/8 series chips include the SD6857 and SD6858. The difference between the two is that the SD6858 supports TRIAC dimming, while the SD6858 system solution supports many different types of dimmers, and will not be used during dimming. Blinking appears.

    This series of chips uses a number of patented technologies of the independent intellectual property rights of Silan Microelectronics - PFC + PSR + TRIAC control technology. The circuits of these patented technologies use the primary side control method to control the constant current driving of the LED, and realize the same output current, primary side control and high power factor value (PF>0.95) under the condition of thyristor dimming, high and low voltage input.

    In addition, the chip integrates temperature protection circuit, loop open circuit protection, line loss compensation, peak current compensation, current limiting circuit, over voltage protection, undervoltage lockout and other protection circuits to ensure the normal working environment of the chip and extend its service life. .
