TPV plans to set up a factory in Taiwan, and AUO and Jingdian are expected to benefit

A few days ago, TPV, the world's largest LCD manufacturer, plans to invest NT$30-500 billion to build an operational headquarters, R&D center and related plants in Taiwan, which will help Taiwan's LED manufacturers and TPV to cooperate more closely.

In June 2010, Taiwan's largest LED epitaxial wafer company Jingdian (2448) and other companies announced a joint venture with TPV to set up LED downstream (light bar and packaging) factory in Fuzhou, China, with a total investment of about 800 million yuan. Electricity holds 10%, TPV holds 25%, and Everlight holds 65%.

AU Optronics (2409) and TPV built a LCM assembly plant for the rear-end LCD module in Europe, Poland, and South America, and cooperated in R&D and manufacturing related businesses.
